The project I undertook for the Furla brand came at a crucial moment: we needed to talk about the product honestly, but with the visual flair characteristic of a brand that straddles fashion, detail and lifestyle.
The shoot was approached with a clear premise from the outset: to showcase without over-explaining. To achieve this, I worked with a visual language based on prime lenses – tools that allow for a cleaner interpretation of volume, accurate proportions, authentic perspectives and a level of detail that highlights the leather, the finish and the product’s design without turning the image into a technical manifesto.
The lighting was structured according to the principle of controlled direction, carefully managing the bounce and fall of shadows so that each frame maintained depth, restraint and balance, integrating the product into its surroundings organically, naturally and with a harmonious visual rhythm.
More than just a collection of photographs, the result functions as a unified visual narrative, where each image is consistent in its intention: to make the product feel close, real and desirable, whilst at the same time protected within the aesthetic universe that defines the brand.
That has always been my approach to retail and fashion: to create images that do not scream ‘luxury’, but embody it. A visual narrative where authenticity reigns, the product comes to life, and the story flows without the camera getting in the way — it merely elevates it.
