It all starts with an email. Having my photography website well cared for and so many posts like this one I write summarizing my work in text and images. On this occasion an English couple, recently married, need to show with good images the beautiful country house they have just renovated and put up for rent in different real estate and rental websites.

Luxury and Real Estate Photography, The Zagaleta

The Bmw Gt climbed like a devil up the steep road to Ronda. My client and editor of the magazine I was photographing for that day was in a hurry to get to the impressive La Zagaleta housing development. “Sorry Juanjo I know you had a car accident not long ago, out of respect for you I shouldn’t run so much”, the thing already looked exciting, in just a few minutes it should portray the founder of the most luxurious urbanization in Marbella and therefore in Europe.

Photography at Marbella Club Hotel

These were the words of my admired Natalia Taffarel, in one of the digital retouching and postproduction workshops that she gives all over the world and which I was able to attend in Madrid. This phrase serves me to introduce what this post will talk about, the experience of being a professional photographer and how to face an assignment for an international publication, my client Sette HauteStyle Magazine.

Workshop Real Estate Photography

For several years now, numerous real estate agencies and professionals in the sector have been calling me because they want to improve the images of the properties they sell. The real estate photography workshop that I have developed within my activity as a commercial photographer is aimed at real estate agents, sellers, listers, managers and professionals in the sector with two aspects in common: One, they are not photographers, they are real estate agents. Two, they have little time but they know they need to take good pictures.
