I work with large aperture prime lenses to photograph every detail with extreme fidelity: a 16 mm for wide-angle shots, a 50 mm to respect geometries without distortion and an 85 mm to highlight the essence of the materials. The perfect image is not a coincidence, it is a combination of technique and vision.
In an environment where LEDs, neon, natural light and reflections from shop windows coexist, mastering the lighting is key to conveying the real atmosphere of the shop. I use Profoto flashes with zoned light shaping to highlight volumes without altering the design intent. It’s not about lighting for lighting’s sake, but about sculpting the light with precision to generate images with character, depth and a consistent colour balance throughout the shoot until the final export.
Post-production is the last major stage of the process. Here it is not about ‘retouching’, but about perfecting. Every commercial space is a work of design thought out to the millimetre, and photographing it with precision is a technical art that goes far beyond pressing a shutter. I use only high-resolution prime lenses: 16mm for visual impact, 24mm and 50mm to maintain perfect proportions, and an 85mm to capture details with absolute sharpness. In addition, I employ polarising filters to control reflections and glare from glass, furniture and lacquered surfaces, ensuring that each image faithfully reflects the design intent without distraction or imperfection. The result is a faithful and attractive representation of the space, with clean architectural lines, defined textures and an impeccable visual balance that reinforces the brand’s identity.

A commercial space never has a single light source: combinations of ambient, natural and decorative lighting create a technical challenge that requires absolute control.
