Soloptical Summer Campaign. Fashion Photography and Lifestyle Video.
Shopping malls, 110 stores, billboards, catalogs, web and brochures inserted in the main newspapers of the country. There is practically no channel where the photographs I have taken for the firm Soloptical have not been seen. When this project came to my studio, we thought about how to do a fashion session, eliminating the possible unsightly glare of some glasses. For this I used a radio controlled flash system, where the light source was well above the models, avoiding reflectors and other light modifiers that act on the surface. Photoshop retouching by frequency separation and intelligent objects to get the best textures on skin, background and of course, glasses. The photo shoot was designed from a careful pre-production based on the casting of the models, the fitting of the product and the preparation of the styles oriented to the time of the year of the campaign launch. My production colleagues from the agency I manage, Helize Estudio, were the ones who carried out all the pre-production, production assistance and post-production tasks to make this campaign a success throughout Spain.
